Chris advises and assists clients on a wide variety of intellectual property issues including the drafting and prosecution of patent applications. Chris' technical expertise is in computer and electrical/electronic technologies. He also has experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications related to mechanical devices and business methods. His technical education was focused on the electronic properties of materials.

Prior to private practice, Chris was a patent examiner for six years in the semiconductor arts at the United States Patent and Trademark Office.  He also previously worked for the prestigious law firms Lee & Hayes and Connolly Bove Lodge & Hutz, assisting clients with the prosecution and litigation of patents in the computer, electrical and mechanical arts. 

Chris is an avid, year-round bike commuter and is an active committee member of Bike to Work Spokane (http://www.biketoworkspokane.org/), which organizes an annual "Bike to Work Week" event for the greater Spokane community.
